Band Instruments For Sale

One Mirafone 186 BBb four-rotor tuba serial number 2584.   Completely dent-free and in raw brass.  New 'clone' bell.  $2,800. Compression and intonation are excellent.  No case.  Pick-up preferred but willing to ship at buyers expense.

One Mirafone 186 BBb four-rotor tuba serial number 4532.  Completely dent-free and in raw brass.  Original bell.  $3,200.  Compression and intonation are excellent.  No case.  Pick-up preferred but will to ship at owners expense.

Conn 36K fiberglass sousaphone.  This is a pre-1985 horn manufactured before Conn and King were merged.  No dents in the brass and no cracks in the fiberglass.  Complete with neck and bits.  No case.  The body is mostly raw brass.  The body and bell are the original Conn white. This horn isn't pretty but it plays great.  This horn could be painted school colors and used in a pep or stage band.  $1,200.  Pick-up preferred but shipping is available at the buyer's expense.

I have a Kalashen 'Kaiser Model' CC that I think was actually built by Bohland and Fuchs for sale. It appears to be about a 1900 vintage and plays GREAT! It's had quite a bit of 'pro-level' work done to it including a Matt Walters adjustable gap receiver, venting done by Bob Palansche, original clockwork springs and linkage replaced by conventional springs and UniBalls, and regular maintenance. No bag or case included. $2,800. Images available upon request. This tuba is located in Newburgh, Indiana. Pick up in person is free. Shipping to you is whatever it costs plus my packing materials.
